Navigating the underwater world of Dave the Diver presents players with numerous quests that require specific choices and items. One such objective involves retrieving a specific book for Kazhin in the Sea People Village. Understanding which book to select, where to locate it, and its main uses will help you progress seamlessly through this storyline.
Starting Kazhin's Quest Line
To begin this quest, visit Kazhin at the Seed Shop located on the left side of the Sea People Village. After completing initial favor tasks, Kazhin will request that you pick up a book for him from the local temple. Head over to the temple on the right side of the village after taking the central portal.
Which Book to Select at the Temple
Inside the temple, speak with the priestess Niamo to request the reading material. Dave cannot remember the exact title, prompting Niamo to display three different book choices. You must choose the book on the far right, which features King Long on the cover.
Uses and Rewards for Delivering the Book
Handing the correct book to Kazhin completes the "Kazhin's Reading Time" sub-mission. In return, Kazhin rewards you with Bei currency, trust points, and your first batch of seaweed seeds. These seeds allow you to unlock agricultural progress within the village by speaking to Gumo at the nearby farm.
Tips for Smooth Village Navigation
Navigating the Sea People Village efficiently requires utilizing the fast travel portals scattered across the map. Always double-check quest markers to ensure you are speaking with the right villagers before selecting choices. Picking the correct book right away saves extra travel time and ensures immediate quest completion.
